Age and ID
Under Ontario law, no one under 19 may enter or stay in a casino. The room on Beech Street follows that rule at the door. Entry is 19+, and it takes valid government-issued photo ID.
Anyone 21 or younger must also carry a secondary piece of name identification. One card is not enough at that age, even if the photo ID is current. So the advice is plain: if you are 21 or under, carry both cards every time. Keep them together in your wallet, so the drive in from Seaforth or Exeter does not end at the door.
Who may not enter
People who have been trespassed or self-excluded from Gateway Casinos Clinton may not visit. The same applies to anyone trespassed or self-excluded from any Ontario gaming property, not just this one.
OLG's My PlayBreak is one way to set up that kind of break. A casino break bars entry to any Ontario casino, Clinton included. Terms run 3 or 6 months, or 1 to 5 years. Once chosen, a term cannot be cancelled early. Enrolment goes through the OLG Support Centre at 1-800-387-0098, or through staff at a casino.
Accessibility on request
- Wheelchairs, accessible formats and communication supports are available on request.
- Guide dogs and service animals may enter the casino's public areas.
- Guests may bring and use their own assistive devices.
- Support persons are admitted, subject to the same 19+ age rule as every other visitor.
